"Phoenixes, rise out of the ashes!"
TROOP 390

Scout Challenge Troop Competition
Weber State Rock Climbing Adventure
On March 12, 2013, Troop 390 had an exciting night at Weber Rocks as we learned how to rock climb. We learned about many safety techniques, and how to properly spot for the climbers. We had fun reaching the top and moon walking down the wall again. We were glad that everyone could come out and have a good time!
We have been having fun learning new knots and other scouting skills to help prepare for the Boy Scout Challenge. On April 19-20, 2013, we tested these skills up at Cobble Creek Campground.  On Friday, we arrived, setup camp, ate dinner, and prepared for a rainy night ahead.  The next day, we woke up to snow on our tents in the morning. We had fun doing orienteering, fire-starting, push-ups, and sit-ups, and other fun scouting skills. In the end, we won the multi-troop Scout Challenge, and won the Spirit Stick for our troop this year.
